Byron Clark who goes by the online handle "Lossenelin" has been a leftist political activist since the 2003 invasion of Iraq. He is a Marxist and an active member of the Workers Party of New Zealand. He is a former fast food worker as has been active in unionizing that industry, he has since worked in manufacturing, distribution and the meat industry (despite being a vegetarian) he currently works part-time as an electronics salesperson while studying for a BA in history at the University of Canterbury. He has previously studied IT and hopes to use his skills in both fields to make information accessable to the people of the world, as such he is a strong supporter of the Wikipedia project and has contributed to over 100 articles, he supports the Free Software movement and uses Linux on his home computer. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, reading, blogging, and listening to interesting podcasts.
